About Dry Humor

Hello and welcome! I'm CJ, the founder of Dry Humor, nestled in the heart of Easthampton, Massachusetts. Dry Humor goes beyond offering non-alcoholic beverages. We’re on a mission to create a vibrant, welcoming space where people of all backgrounds—drinkers, non-drinkers, curious explorers—can discover that life without alcohol isn’t just possible—it’s radiant, meaningful, and deeply worth embracing.

Here, you don’t just pick a drink; you reclaim your mornings, your clarity, your connections. You’re invited to explore with curiosity, dip into new tastes, and find joy in a life filled with intention and flavor. We’re here to support you—with outstanding alcohol alternatives, genuine warmth, and no judgment—so you can choose a path toward cleaner living that feels enriching and celebratory.

It’s about more than abstaining—it’s about thriving. So raise a glass (mocktail or not) with us, and cheers to fresh starts, bold flavors, and all the beauty that awaits beyond the booze.

About the Founder

CJ lives in Easthampton, Massachusetts with her wife and two dogs. She loves yoga, swimming, playing guitar, singing, and—most of all—spending time with her incredible friends and family. Like many, CJ’s relationship with alcohol became more complicated during the COVID-19 pandemic. With bars closed and social distancing in place, she found herself drinking more often at home. Eventually, she grew tired of the hangovers, anxiety, and the way drinking had begun to take priority over the things that truly mattered in her life. In 2023, she made the decision to put alcohol behind her.

Sobriety opened the door to renewed energy, clarity, and joy, and allowed CJ to give more of herself to the passions she had been neglecting—along with new adventures, like founding Dry Humor. Any fears she once held about a sober lifestyle quickly dissolved as she experienced the positivity it brought into her daily life. Now, she is committed to sharing that same sense of possibility and freedom with others through Dry Humor.

CJ also dedicates her sobriety, and the founding of Dry Humor, to her beloved brother Tom, who passed away in 2016 from an alcohol-related illness. His memory is at the heart of her mission: to be a resource and a voice for those whose lives, like hers, have been negatively impacted by alcohol, and to help others see that life without it is not only possible—but deeply worth living.
